Hi All,

I am having some real issues with my x108G, Firstly I have not used it for a while and put it away in its box. I then recently got it out to fin the oled screen is very poorly. I did a F/W update but no go. Ive since ordered a new display.
Serial number is CXG10521. I spent the weekend erecting a dipole for 40 and the radio is now completely deaf.
Im not sure if the F/W i used has caused this or it has just died on its own.
The F/W I used was V2.00.1 build 002
Can any one share their thoughts?

Hi

I have just downloaded the file "X108G_OLED_FW_V2.00.0_build010,V.2.00.0Build10", and unpacked it.

Slightly concerned that the file is named "X108G_OLED_FW_V2.00.0_build010.xgf", but the instructions are called "X108G_OLED_FW_V2.00.0_build010(VCMP) instruction.docx"

Are the instructions wrongly named or is this the wrong firmware file?

mine has problem after the firmware update, it looks like the the offset has to be reinserted

I used this forum years ago when i first got a 108g, im trying now to get latest firmware for it which i can see here but im failing to download it, i needed to like, which i did, now i need to react, which im not sure about. its not very clear i have to say, great site though. still going strong

Very confusing system to download files, how can users express opinions about software if the cannow download it. first time users give up when not able to download files.
